A very soft type of chalk (see chalk), with a lot of pigment and little binding solution. Pastel offers a wide range of colours. You can make wonderful paint-like drawings with them.
Etching, screen printing, lentils or a combination of two or three of the above techniques.
An old type of paint, developed in the 15th century. It is a mixture of pigments in the form of very fine coloured powder, with a vegetable drying oil, usually linseed oil, as a binding solution.
For this I may use ordinary grey pencils, from hard to soft, coloured pencils, pastel pencils or some other medium
I make portaits of people and animals in coloured pencil, oils, pastels or some other graphic technique.
These include landscapes, buildings, philosophical and religious subjects.
Commissioned for display, usually in public spaces.
